About Brandi
Hi, I’m Brandi Andrews, and I’m running for Larimer County Treasurer because I believe our community deserves strong financial leadership, transparency, and accountability in local government.
I am a professional accountant with years of experience in tax compliance, financial reporting and financial management. My background includes extensive work in sales and use tax compliance, ensuring that complex regulations are followed accurately and ethically. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how public revenue systems work and why strong oversight matters.
I have served as a Controller for multiple companies, where I managed large budgets, monitored cash flow, and worked closely with teams across departments to ensure financial stability and transparency. In these roles, I have been responsible for safeguarding funds, improving reporting systems, and supporting responsible long-term planning.
As a working parent and homeowner in Larimer County, I understand how financial decisions made by government office affect real families. I have personally navigated property tax systems and know how confusing and frustrating they can be. That experience motivates me to make the Treasurer’s Office more accessible, responsive, and easy to understand.
I am also deeply committed to community service and have volunteered my time with local organizations to support families and individuals in need. Giving back to our community is a core part of who I am.
As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, I am committed to improving access to county services for more residents. Clear communication is essential to public trust, and I believe everyone deserves to understand how their government works.
If elected, I will focus on:
Transparent and easy-to-understand financial reporting
Responsible stewardship of public funds
Strong internal controls and accountability
Accessible services for all residents
Building trust through professionalism and integrity
Public service is about listening, learning and leading with honesty. I am proud to call Larimer County home, and I am honored to work toward earing your trust. - Brandi
